Atal Innovation Mission

• ATAL Tinkering Labs (ATAL stands for Atal Innovation Mission) are innovation workspaces that have been set up by the Government of India in schools across the country. These labs are designed to foster creativity, innovation, and scientific thinking among students from a young age, and encourage them to develop and build innovative projects using a range of tools and equipment.
• The ATAL Tinkering Labs are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies such as 3D printers, robotics kits, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and much more. Through these labs, students can gain hands-on experience in designing and building prototypes, coding, and programming, and learn about emerging technologies.
• The primary aim of the ATAL Tinkering Labs is to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, and encourage them to develop solutions to real-world problems. The labs also provide a platform for students to showcase their innovative projects and ideas, and connect with experts and mentors in the field of science and technology.
